Justice, Peace, Integrity of Creation …

To be called, since the beginning of our Congregation, to live Unity according to the wishes of Jesus Christ: “May all be ONE… “(Jn 17),
invites us today “to be artisans of Justice, Peace and the protection of Creation.”.

Indeed, whatever our work, ministry or mission, whatever our state of health, “Justice, Peace, Respect for our Common Home“ becomes like the blood nourishing them and the heart animating them.

To work for justice, peace, and integrity of creation, at this time in the history of the world, is a great human, civil and Christian responsibility.

With our eyes open to the challenges of this time, our lives are engaged, with our people, to act with the impoverished, the exploited and the marginalized and to rediscover God’s dream in his creation.

We all feel responsible and called to : « Care for the Common Home (cf. Laudato si…) aware of the interdependence among human beings, society, the environment and all of creation. » (Orientation 4 of the General Chapter)

The participation of one of us at the St. Joseph NGO is a stimulus for this mission.

In the Congregation and in each Province, Region or Sector, a team of Sisters is attentive in supporting this common commitment : through prayer and action.

One of them, Arul Vinarassi coordinates this group and is in link with the one responsible at the NGO.
